Finding an idea using the popular Painted Autumn Suite of products is easy! So many stampers are sharing their creations on Pinterest. I combined several to design this card for the September class.
Start with a Very Vanilla card base. Layer the 5" x 2" piece of the zigzag Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper on the left side, followed by the 4" x 2" piece of green leaves. Then use the Multipurpose Liquid Glue to attach the 4 1/4" piece of 5/8" Burlap Ribbon across the front.
With the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelit Dies and the Big Shot, cut one from 3 1/4" square piece of Very Vanilla card stock. Now for the fun part...stamping!
Painted Harvest is a watercolor look stamp set in photopolymer. The two flower petal stamps are designed to give a lot of color dimension. First stamp the larger flower in Daffodil Delight toward the top of the circle and over stamp the smaller one in Crushed Curry. The center holes are not designed to line up perfectly, so just enjoy the freedom of it! Use Early Espresso to stamp the center. Again, it is not designed to line up perfectly with the flower petal hole. Finish with a greeting. I used the Happy Birthday stamp from Rose Wonder in Early Espresso. Did you notice that at least 3 of of the Stampin' Up! sets have a similar font style...Rose Wonder, Butterfly Basics and now Painted Harvest? It's fun to have choices to mix and match.
Sometimes you have to play with colors to coordinate with the designer series paper, especially when you are stamping on Very Vanilla instead of Whisper White. So after several tries with various greens, I landed on Lemon Lime Twist for the solid stamp and Old Olive for the detail stamp on the leaves. Stamp 3 on a 1 7/8" x 5 1/2" piece of Very Vanilla and cut with the Leaf Punch.
